Pacuare Lodge is nestled in a rainforest overlooking the Pacuare river and  is a proud  member of the collection of  Unique Lodges of the World by National Geographic.  Getting to our lodge is half the adventure since you arrive and depart as part of a multi-day rafting trip on the Pacuare river, considered as one of the top 10 scenic rivers in the world .  The  protected zone of the Pacuare river is part of the largest network of national parks, private reserves and protected areas of Central America. More than 1.2 million  acres of rainforest.  Guest may experience a unique meal  at the Nest , a   platform  60 feet  high in a centenary  Ceiba , a tree that was sacred to the ancient Mayans  and  our staff  is 100% from the local communities, recognized by our guests as one of the most remarkable moments of their stay.
